Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Alpharetta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Alpharetta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. This coffee shop is definitely a hidden gem! They offer a great variety of coffees, with something for every taste. Their signature Coco Nuez Latte is delicious, and they also have seasonal flavors to try. I love that they make all their coffee syrups from scratch! Their bakery section is also a must-try. The pastries are all delicious. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the baristas are so friendly and happy to explain the menu. They also serve ice cream, although I’ve always gone for their coffee!
